Hello Chaps
As I am Building 2 PZ IIIs i am comeing across with some obsticals and I will share with you. Also as i go on with the build i will tell you all the liitle mods i have put in for ease of future maintenance. I will be posting as the build progresses.
1. On the return rollers. Find the center of the 3 mounting points and drill a 6mm hole. This enables you to unscrew the roller shaft for regreasing.
2. Fit the dummy shock absorbers to the arms when you fit the suspension.
3. On the shock absorber top drill through the side 5mm and fit a M5 bolt.
4. On the Main Motor mounting Run a M5 tap through all of the holes.
5. On the suspension arms to torsion bars use loctite 638 and cross drill.

Hello Steven
I have noticed that on the two PZIIIs i am doing, is that on the Torsion bar shaft and Arm is that you must use a high strenth Glue ie Loctight 638 or equivalent. This is a must!!!
This is due that the arms on the left looking from the back the rotation of the arm undoes the thread loosening it.

Thanks Lee. I can see why you red Loctite and have used 273, which I believe should be OK. It was the cross drilling that I'm unsure about - do you mean you've drilled endwise or across the shaft radially and inserted a pin to prevent rotation of the arm in relation to the shaft? If so, could you explain a bit further? Sorry to be a pain. Stephen

Hello Steven
loctite 273 is not strong enough. You must use 638. I drilled through the Arm and center of the shaft and out the other side. I used M3 by 20mm bolt.
