Peter has just sent through this photo of his re machined road wheel face , plus fake welds and scale bolts . How good does this look . When I first saw the photo I thought it was real ...

Awesome! Well done Peter! Those look really nice. These photos below will show just how good yours looks!

I know you will not like me asking this but will you be adding the small, raised area around the smaller holes too? Either way, your wheels look SUPER.

Kind regards
Tim

Hi Tim, If I can find small hollow rivets used in leather craft that will fit i will use em,but i have brass tube that is the right size ,only problem you need to cut 84 of em,bugger of a job, anyhow for the time being they will stay as they are
Motion/Sound pack arrived Tuesday so that has all my attention at the moment ,i told Dale i will be ,ready for a test of the system tonite, radio gear arrived this morning OH what a feeling!!!
The wheels didn't take long to do ,i made 3 tools and did them as 3 seperate operations,i also made a hub removal tool,i'll send a photo to Dale later ,so he can pass it on to the forum
cheers
Peter

Hi Colin

I'm sorry but Jacques' stug III has a nice set of schurtzen on it so the return rollers are not easily photographed. I think the cut-outs on the guides is an early vs. late version of link and these are just mixed. Of course I could be wrong.

Thanks again Dale for posting the photos, the electrics install worked very well i wanted access to the Armortek power unit ,a receiver switch (with this you can leave the motor sound running whith no radio on,for show days) and power plug access,i have test run with it up on blocks, the side on photo shows running position of the suspension,i set mine slightly lower than the 40 deg after doing a weight test on the suspension,i had approx 6kg per wheel calculated weight, all's well downunder....soon have to think about cutting a door in the outside wall to unleash the Panzer to the great outdoors,i'm not allowed to run it across the new carpet,,yes dear, when are you going out again! :D cheers all

Thanks Dale for the photo's. Peter you're Panzer III is looking fantastic

Don't forget to take a video of it when you eventually get it outside. The ride height looks about right to me but what do I know. You're electrics look very neat and tidey. Well done :!: :!:

Thanks Antony
