Well have a go, start with the ubiquitous grey , that shows every imperfection, fix anything that stands out then move on to the period base colour, then your chosen top coat, then the fun begins. I don't mind talking you through some basics but I'm sure with your talent you can come up with some nice weathering !

bit more completed, both large storage boxes with hinges and hasps, and nailed the colours to the mast

Superb mate, love the patina already! Some photos with a nice back drop and you would be hard pushed to tell it from the real thing,( hope you don't mind a little edit 8)) cheers Phil.

Hi Phil photo looks good, will try to get you a complete shot to experiment with when reassembled
as you can see most of the assemblies can be removed and I thought I would take a couple of pictures of the underneath before finally goes back together

It finally has an identity, taken from a period photo of a R.N.A.S Rolls, and the only one I could find with clear markings, so it is being put aside for a while before any weathering is attempted as the garden and house need some tlc

I think I am about finished on the build, as I am unsure if the first armoured cars had the rear light, I can always add it later if need be,
made the ditching beams these are functional and lock in place with a wingnut on the running boards, also made working bolts to keep the rear doors open, it has been a fun build taking about 5 months to do, a lot of that time has been on researching images
