M4A3E8 No.55

My first 1/6 Sherman tank was completed after 3 months of assembly.(M4A3E8 1951 Korean war)

To do all that in three months, to such a high level of detail is an outstanding achievement. Congratulations! Such a striking, sharp, precise model. Beautiful.

A very nice model - well done ! And it’s good to see more interest in the Korean War …..

Fantastic looking build. Very unique, stark, excellent detail and doesn't look mistreated :lol:
Time to enjoy what I consider is my favourite bit.

That's certainly a superb looking model.

I like the cover around the mantlet - would love to know how you achieved that.
It looks like it has some form of stiffener around the outer edge ?

I wrapped the 3mm aluminum wire with cloth and glued it

That is a fantastic build. Lovely details and cool, striking paint job! Really Excellent! I just watched that series "Greatest Tank Battles - Korea" last night! The E8's put up a good fight against T34's!

There are some photos of the process, but not many, I will share them in the future.
As for the next model, I think I have to solve next model parking lot problem first.
