Recoil problem

Post by Andy Walker »

I'm having trouble with the recoil on my Tiger 131. I have the recoil servo and LED lights working, but they only work with 4 clicks on Tx toggle switch which is the MG sound. 3 clicks on the toggle switch produce the main gun sound but no activation of the recoil servo or LED's. Any ideas?

Morning Andy, that sounds similar to my problem with the Panther. For me, it was the Bendini sound board programme. If I can remember that far back, at the time 'Mark' reset or ran the programme installation again. My sound system had the main gun and the M/G reversed...Mick

Thanks for reply Michael. Its possible that could be the fault. I've no idea of the technicalities of sound boards, but the correct sound occur on the right number of clicks of the toggle switch, its just that the recoil and LED's flash when the MG sound is operated (4 clicks) instead of on 3 clicks (Main Gun).
Could it be a problem with the recoil card rather than sound card? I'm hoping that I can sort out the problem myself as the Electronics were purchased in approx 2015 along with my TIGER 131, so I'm not sure where I would stand with getting it repaired if required.

HI,
probably it is sufficient to reprogram the board,
that is to exchange the positions of the sounds,
if it is a TBS mini just buy the interface and download the program from http://www.benedini.de/
if it is the old TBS5 you have to send it to Benedini.
The program is quite intuitive and Thomas Benedini is always very willing to help / explain,
to download the program you have to send an email to Thomas,
to get the access data for the download
Regards
Marco

Thanks for suggestion Gian. It might be better if I contact / return soundcard to Armortek to have a look at.....I will probably cause more problems if I try and do it myself
