Kompact kits

Post by johnny johnson »

Kompact kits, out of stock and out of production? When I first found out about Armortek kits I spent about 450.00 US dollars just to gain access to this site, Im sure business is booming and its hard to keep up but it sure would be a shame to limit this great hobby to those that can spend 3 to 10 thousand dollars on a kit, if the Ammunition Limber would not have been available its possilble I may have moved on with other hobbies, Im glad it was because I now own a Stug 3 and I am really enjoying building it, Im sure the tanks are where the money is but I hope the little guys will be considered, and one day the small affordable kits be put back in production.

Hi Johnny
I think the kits are out of stock not out of production, It’s just a matter of getting enough machine time to produce more.

Steve

Not sure where you got that from Tim. We still have the wooden planks in stock - just not got some of the other parts.

Sorry Kian, That was the impression i got when I read this recently from your Factory post about the kompact kits.
I made the assumption it was for imports but after reading again I see it was about you exporting kits overseas.

Kompact kits - some of you may have noticed that we have now sold out of all of our anti-tank guns (25Pdr & Limber, 17Pdr, Pak40 & Pak43/41). For the timebeing we are not planning on producing any more and our focus will be on the kits that we have already announced as well as the ones that we will announce later this year. We will get the hedgehogs back in stock shortly, but even the bailey bridge will be out of stock for a while.

Since the bridge contains wood, and there are restrictions on the export of products containing wood - including to Europe post Brexit - it is not worth the risk of shipments being held-up/confiscated/ destroyed once the good leave the British shores.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
