Absolutely true Stephen, looking at the specs, maybe not quite good enough for Chieftain, not sure what the model will pull current wise, so I will be looking forward to the run testing.
This particular battery maxing out at 20amps continuous discharge, peaking for a few seconds at 40amps.
But prices are falling and as long as the spec's are ok and they conform to certain standards, why not.

2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY
Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.
So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.
We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.
Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Re: LifePo4 Batteries
I use 2 of these:
https://www.i-tecc.de/shop/lifepo4-batt ... 20ah?c=108
I bought them from another supplier, in these batteries you can open the top cover, they are composed of 4 elements joined by copper brackets and M6 bolts, I connected some plugs to make the balanced charge (4S) and I made an adapter from 2 x 4S to 8S mounted under an opening door of the tank, I reload them via an xs60 plug.
in my tank, when off there is no electrical connection with the electronics, I have a battery switch

Re: LifePo4 Batteries
The maximum will be peak current divided by 3600, then multiplied by number of seconds of driving time.
