This is my first Armortek kit as I mostly build in 1/35 scale in plastic.
I am looking forward to building a new work bench to assemble what looks to be a challenging and enjoyable build
Any pointers woukd be gratefully received
Cheers
Al

Take your time and enjoy. Dry build first to see how stuff fits together, look at source material to see how stuff works. It is worthwhile to sort out the bits to be built following each page of instructions into a plastic container (ex Flora) and put the bolts/nuts into separate trays like the cheap multi drawer cabinets. The kit is excellent but some parts may need a little fettling. Look at Dave Dibb Nr 18 as an example on what can be done. Enjoy

Hi Alistair and a Happy New Year to you and yours.
I got my UC before Christmas but have only built the running gear so far. Having a house full of puppies makes it rather tricky to build much at the moment. I know you will enjoy the build and can’t wait to see the finished article and compare it to mine. No pressure, honest.
Stay well
Phil

Alistair, happy new year. Welcome to an addictive hobby. If you haven’t already done so, do consult the Knowledge Base on this Forum. It’s intended to help. There are Basic Topics, which relate to building out of the box and Advanced, which cover customization techniques. Enjoy your build. Stephen
