Detailing the turret vent, as it has the cover you really need to add the wing nut detail.
Hi Phil,
What is the size of these wingnuts ? 2.5mm or smaller ?

The mine dischargers and the track link hangers. 8) The steel tracks are now being held at the Brisbane airport,(and have been there for two weeks) awaiting a freight flight to become available to the UK.

Love all the detail going into this build, some excellent work. But your lower track brackets are in the wrong location.
Here is where they should be.

Good point guys, now do I keep the hangers or remove them as 503 didn't use them anyway at this time, if I want to be accurate with portraying vehicle 331 they should go? 8)
On another subject, the commanders hatch. There's often debate over the colours used for the internal face of the hatches, is a tactical camouflage colour correct or use the ivory internal colour? If you study the photo of 331 with its commanders hatch open it obviously has been painted using the interior shade, and with the head piece being so dark it sure presents a "bulls eye" target! 8)

I’ve been looking into the colour used for the inside of the hatches and it is a frustrating subject as I can’t find anything definitive.

An early Tiger would have had the inside of the hatch painted the same as the rest of the interior but was often repainted by the crew particularly when applying the camo. However this wasn’t always the case and some left the inside of the hatch the original colour. There just aren’t any hard and fast rules for this.

The only way to know for sure would be to find a good photo of the tank in question that might give a hint as to the colour but that is highly unlikely isn’t it.

I’m going to be going with the crew repainted the inside of the hatches on my early Tiger as it just seems like something that that the crew would do.
