Hi Dave
If you are doing an extra detail set above what Armortek supply for the UC I will definitely have one.
Regards
Derek

Re: Wireless sets for the universal carrier
I was looking for something radio related in one of my sheds, this week, I came across a 19set spare valve box, with valves (tubes).
It’s a WW2 one that has been over sprayed, post war, with bronze green paint and re stencilled
(if you look closely you can still see the original stencil lettering under the paint, but it’s difficult to show on the photos).
I’ve taken some photos and measurements before I pass it onto a friend who restores 19sets.

Hi Dave
Thanks for the update on the UC detail parts, can't wait to see what else you've got planned.
Will these be piece meal supplied set or the whole set like the Quad?.
I'm certainly in........... again

Re: Wireless sets for the universal carrier
Hi John,
Trying to get ahead of the game a little but not sure if a set or piecemeal yet. Will obviously post details as I go and let you know when I can how we intend to offer the bits. Is there a preference?
Best regards
Dave

Re: Wireless sets for the universal carrier
Hi Dave,
My preference is for individual items rather than a job lot. Some items in a job lot may never get used and sometimes we want additional items.
Also individual items would make them more attractive for British AFV' builds, other than just the Carrier.
So choosing from long list of individual items would suite me best.

Re: Wireless sets for the universal carrier
Hi Dave
It's been such along time since we've seen or heard anything about the UC other than a possible ship end of November or later.
Of course Armortek will need to spend time getting the model just right. We all want a reliable well built model. Still wondering where the batteries are going to get stashed though.
Did they get the bendy track system working? will it be a nippy little model true to the original?.
We just don't know. Still I'm sure all will be revealed soon.
Every now and then, I have to remind myself of the things I have ordered from Armortek, the detail kit seemed a must at the time of ordering as there no guarantee it would be available elsewhere.
Back to your gear, the ammunition bags look great, the radio you have planned looks a marvel, and I'd like to see a drivers instrument panel.
Maybe some extra detail around vision slits
I plan to deck mine out in BEF guise just before the momentous victory at Dunkirk.

Hi All,
Will go with individual parts then so if you have ordered the Armortek set you can buy what we offer as extras to it.
Just a few of the bits we already have below. More to come.
Best regards
Dave

Re: Wireless sets for the universal carrier
Very nice Dave, I think the radio sets look particularly good, if there's a transfer set to go with them they'd certainly have a wow factor.
I'd really like to see a drivers instrument panel much like the Quad, even more so with the open drivers position, transfers would be a bonus, I suppose driving controls, gear stick and levers might be nice touch to detail the open area too.
