Rotary Encoders and Sound Cards

Post by Armortek »

In the last few days, I've added/edited the following topics:

Sound cards - how to set up:

http://www.armortek.co.uk/Forum3b/viewt ... =34&t=5809

Encoder - how to fit - Spectrum:

http://www.armortek.co.uk/Forum3b/viewt ... =34&t=5800

Thanks to Mick Regan for his original guide to setting up the Futaba and TBS 5. I'll copy the relevant bits of those posts into the Encoder - Futaba topic.

As ever (and particularly with this subject), comments, corrections, additions welcome.

DX8 Gen 1 and Gen 2 are fine. I believe the budget DX8e is not compatible or at least that there have been problems. Someone who knows better might correct me. I use a DX8 on my Cent but am about to install my Taranis software defined radio.

on the Dx 6, the encoder cannot be mounted, it has only 4 proportional channels, the other 2 are only on / off with 3 positions, at least on my DX6 2 series
