Made and fitted the drain plugs, you may notice all the big hex bolts, I won't compromise with these as keeping that aluminum hull along with the suspension mounting stiff is paramount, so I just live with it.

That is a very nice paint job on the bin! There is no way telling that it is not sheet metal.

I'm having the afternoon off but have got a fair bit done this morning, as for the rear end of the tiger, well that's just about finished. I still have weathering like scratches, dents, small arms damage, soot, oil, rust, mud and dust to add but that will evolve as I go. 8)

I'm having ago at all the mud that was deposited on the rear fender, this was probably due to a mine or a shell bending the fender or when the vehicle was bogged down and was pulled out squashing the rear fender against the track and deforming the side fender?

Whilst I'm waiting for parts from Armortek ( they are super busy with the stug and I keep adding more parts to my final parts list, sorry Monique), I've decided to get some of the motion installed and the high pressure smoker ready for its first outing with a Tiger1. 8)

Hi Phil,
I’m following your smoker unit “mods” with interest. I did a lot of work on mine.... opening the bore of the outlet adaptors, aligning the ports and “gas flowing” them, if you know what I mean?
The results are quite impressive, the increase in flow resulting in a “proper job” smoke screen! In fact I think just one smoke unit in my KT would now suffice!
Phil.

Hi Phil, you keep going as there's so much to it. More smoke is not the object, two smokers are not the solution as you have found out!

Would any of you lovely people out there have the double threaded pipe fitting that goes between the firing device and connects to the barrel they could sell me? it's just basically a piece of pipe. I could turn one up but would rather have the original for safety reasons. 8)

Now I have a good reason to use the firing device, number one I have a licence for this kind of thing, and number two I have been asked by a certain book author to provide photos of a early Tiger1 firing, so as I designed the thing I felt I should use it! I don't recommend you guys using it as it has had issues in the past, this due to incorrect maintenance and possibly incorrect blanks being used.
