Hi Phil
I think it is an early style bin? See Modellers Guide page 76 and 117.

Hi Phil,
Not a PzIV bin but an ad hock build probably from a workshop at Fallingbostel.
http://tiger1.info/EN/Turret-bin-503.html
#331 is a good guess just compare the missing flap at the rear LHS mudguard and the ~half broken off last fender allowing all that dirt trown up at the rear end/side.
Kind regards
Kent

Well Steen, if you can print them yourself you could ask Vince nicely and he may send you the stl files or I can print them out for you if Vince doesn't mind, I really don't mind as I owe you one?

Re: Early or mid ? Tiger 1 build by Phil Woollard
Now I could kiss you but that wouldn't be appropriate let's give it a go Vince.
The top section would need to be separate or the support structure necessary to hold it during printing may prove difficult to remove.
The same goes for the turret lifting lug cut out, that needs printing separately or maybe made part of the top just print inverted with minimal support.
Without the top I see no reason why it wouldn't print very well indeed!

Re: Early or mid ? Tiger 1 build by Phil Woollard
Maybe a lip on the top section so that it would locate nicely into the bottom but with a large tolerance so it will slot in with minimal fetling a bit like the standard T1 turret bin?

Re: Early or mid ? Tiger 1 build by Phil Woollard
Decided today not to binge watch Korean dramas and Japanese anime on Netflix and made the bin instead.
Files sent via email. No guarantees that it will work out. Bin is in three parts. Wall thickness is 4mm to make it sturdy. Suggest you print the main body with the bottom on the print bed to minimize supports. I used the dimensions from the tiger1.info website. Drew it full size then scaled it down to 1/6th scale. The inner radius is 193mm which fits on my turret but I don't know about yours. Suggest before printing anything draw an arc on a paper with that radius and check that it is OK for your turret.
You need to add metal brackets, hinges and a latch.

Hi all,
Interesting!
But please note the turret lifting lug cut out had the bottom plate sloped to drain rain.
Something missed by everyone das far so please lets put an end of it today.
Kind regards
