Thanks guys, reading up on the subject, when the hl230 was produced the manual crank starter engine dog coupler was slightly offset to the right compared to the hl210, hence the two threaded crank positions on the starter plate. The plate could then be used with whatever engine the Tiger had installed. I may need to enlarge the access hole in the rear plate.
My plan when Hermes, the most useless carrier ever decide to deliver my parcel from Kees in NL is to fit the panther sounds card, my reason, I'm just not keen on the 131 recorded sound. I really don't think that the Tiger would have ever made that din, the aftermarket fan drive gearboxes certainly don't help. So I shall fit it record a video and we can all decide!
