Robert,
IIRC, you have labeled your wires opposite the designations in the Benedini manual. That might have caused confusion? In other words, the Benedini no 4 is your no 1, connected to receiver channel 6. All you need to do now is to check your radio how receiver channel 6 is controlled, as the TBS5 is already set up for toggle control (three audible clicks on power-up). Maybe channel 6 is not configured in your radio at all and you need to do that?
Thank you Christoffer.

And thanks for all the help you given me in the past also.
I / we can check this on our woodland course to morrow. :D

Have a nice day and stay safe.
Robert

These are screen shots from the transmitter. I made Input 5 = Switch A and Mix CH5 = Input 5

The transmitter is an X-Lite, so the screen is Tiny.

It sounds like you are not operating the switch in the right way.

If we say the switch has three positions:

Position 1 is away from you
Position 2 is centred
Position 3 is towards you

Position 1 is the activation position, Position 2 is the neutral position, and Position 3 is the selection position.

The switch should always be in Position 2 unless you are changing or playing a the sound.

Sound Number 1 - Engine

From Position 2 move the switch to Position 3 and back to Position 2.

Try not to do it too quickly or too slowly, as this can confuse the sound card.
You will get a feel for it once you have the sounds playing as you want them.

This is a count of 1, which selects Sound Number 1, which is engine start/stop but it does not activate it.

To activate this sound, move the switch from Position 2 to Position 1 and back again once. The engine sound should start.

If you move the switch to Position 1 and back again for a second time, the engine sounds will stop.

Sound Number 2

This is usually an engine revving sound, which should be played when the engine is already running.

From Position 2 move the switch to Position 3 and back to Position 2 twice.

This is a count of 2, which selects Sound Number 2 but does not activate it.

To activate this sound, move the switch from Position 2 to Position 1 and back again once. The sound will be played once.
If you move the switch to Position 1 and back again for a second time, the sound will be played again.

Sound Number 3

This is usually the main gun firing sound.

From Position 2 move the switch to Position 3 and back to Position 2 three times.

This is a count of 3, which selects Sound Number 3 but does not activate it.

To activate this sound, move the switch from Position 2 to Position 1 and back again once. The sound will be played once.
If you move the switch to Position 1 and back again for a second time, the sound will be played again.

The rest of the sounds work in exactly the same way, so four times for sounds four, five times for sound five etc.

You may find the switch works the other way round, so Position 1 is towards you, but the method is the same, just swap Position 1 and Position 3 in the instructions above.

Adrian.

Adrian Harris I stand up and salute you, with my hat in my hand.
You took your time and explained in a good way as a "Old" beginner that I am, could understand.

The problem was in the radio, the 3way switch was mirrored.
And set to -0 +100.
Instead of -100 and +100

Have a nice day and stay safe.
