Re: Any updates ?
Hi Steve - not really much to report on the UC.
We have started building prototype no 2 and waiting for machining time. Priority at the moment is to get the remaining KT option pack parts made and get the JT finished.
Will have more to post by early June.
Shame we could not have had the UC available earlier - it makes a great model for the lockdown !

Re: Any updates ?
Hi Kian
Thanks for the reply.
Looking forward to the update when it’s available .
Plenty of stuff to keep me occupied on the Chieftain during the lock down.
Regards
Steve

Re: Any updates ?
Not much of an update at the moment. we are still working our way through finishing off the Jagdtiger, although we have about 75% of the parts for the second UC prototype already made and part assembled. Just need to fee up some machine time to get the rest done.
With all the current restrictions in place, our manufacturing schedule has slipped - currently expecting the UC to be shipping around the end of the summer, but will know more once the second prototype is built.

Hello Kian,
Back at the end of July you sent out a newsletter in which you forecast "The expectation is that the Universal Carrier will then follow fairly fast after that with a shipping date in October/ November".
Please can you give an update of developments and progress on the Universal Carrier? When are you expecting to ship?
Regards

Although we already started with some of the UC components, the production machines will take a break for a few days next week, scheduled maint, etc and we will then continue on the UC production.

Thanks for the update,
These are uncertain times, so It's nice to be able to count down the weeks to the new arrival.
Stay safe

Re: Any updates ?
With the new forecast shipping date likely to be end Nov at the earliest, you must be well advanced with your prototype build and testing.
Please can you provide a few more photos to whet our appetite for seeing what's to come?

Re: Any updates ?
Quote from the November newsletter
"And the countdown begins ..... to bring some cheer to the next lockdown, we will announce our next kit(s) on the 9th November.
Stay tuned
Armortek"
But still no real news about the Universal Carrier which was announced way back in February
Some real updates and few photos and videos of the prototype vehicles would be welcome.
Did the prototype track warping steering work correctly? Does the braked differential steering work as planned? What are the current delivery forecasts?
The highlight of the last October newsletter was a photo of boxes of 'special' castle nuts which do not match the length of the axles and some rubber tyres that are way too big for the return rollers. Sounds like further delays are to be expected.

Re: Any updates ?
If you are going to quote me then pick up all the relevant parts to quote: i.e ..... "Will be sending out a mail to all the Universal Carrier customers with an update."
BTW - it is not a newsletter. The post you are referring to is an informal peek at what we are up to.
Kian
As I also wrote "...waiting for the factory to confirm the production timeline for the correct tyre"
