Yes the diameter can be reduced and the thickness can stay the same or I can scale it up or down on any axis

The starter plate printed just fine Vince The fan assemblies, I need to double check the space in the Armortek engine bay as it's not to scale, I don't want to print for 19hrs to find they are not going to fit .

The diameter of the fans is 93mm and I have a feeling that you will need to down-scale the units like what you did to the starter plate. Best wait till you get the engine and then you have a better idea of what fits and what doesn't.

I was thinking the same thing vince, measuring under the tee piece just now it's around 10mm per side to wide. I think I'll do a draft at 90% as that will be quick and should show up any problems.
The engine has now been posted so should be here early next week.

Can I be a pain Vince and ask you to slice the file 40mm from the top of the coolant tanks right through the fans, that would make for an even quicker evaluation? hang on I need to measure that depth of cut again, be back in a mo! Na it's 60mm not 40mm, I blame the wine!

60mm slice sent.

There's hardly any fan parts. Be advised, like on the real thing, that the stator blades are attached to the hub and shroud whilst the rotor blades are only attached to the hub. As there is no hub in the slice, you might have problems with the pieces of rotor blades.

Phil, great vehicles but they don't float as well as you might expect them too.
I've had these two amphibians. 10th ish scale
Of course you'd want the Stolly to be fully working too.
Archimedes theory just doesn't scale as well as you expect once you hit real water.
Getting out of the water is a lot harder than getting in too.
