Found a photo of the exhaust expansion box you mentioned a couple of days ago and made a quick draft of it. Obviously all dimensions are not correct.

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.
You have been busy vince! We could do with ivano's dimension of the main engine exhausts centres , I will take some measurements and we could do draft to see if it will work?
Just seen your post Stephen and thank you once again, I will have a look tomorrow and digest the figures.

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.
There's lots of interesting angles going on with both the exhaust systems, the auxiliary engine has a very long run, I shall enjoy replicating that lot very much!
Ivano we need to know the centres of these pipes taken from the L60 engine you are making for us?

What's the diameter of those two copper pipes? 1/2" or 3/4"?

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.
I wasn't too far off. I modelled mine as 16mm.
Also be advised that although my drawing shows pipes with bellows, they are not functional. They are not flexible. Also I can't draw bends in bellows.

Re: Chieftain build by Phil Woollard.
Hi Phil,
i have not reproduced the exhausts,
there was no space. I can give you this size, the tubes are on the sides of the head. The brackets measure 14.5 mm. they are not sure they are correct, maybe you will have to do it again. Without the tank it is difficult to guess. Tell me if the information is useful.
Thanks!

Thanks Ivano that's great.
Now I have the false floor over the electric motors I can give you the exact distance between the "T piece" and the floor if you like?

Thanks but I don't think I need it, the boxes of the sefrigerante are already in print. Also for the other pieces the OK was given for the realization. We cross our fingers and hope well!
