Re: New muzzle brake
I would be interested in the Panther muzzle break and have already forwarded a number of pictures, the easiest Panther gun i can think of for measurements is in Panzermuseum Munster, any of our German kameraden willing to take measurments.

Re: New muzzle brake
Friends,
I understand that going to the museum takes time and desire.
I thought of a simple solution:
if you say that the Aber 1/16 muzzle brake is true to the original,
we do a money collection (sold on eBay for € 50/55), we buy it and I try to copy it. We always need 7 reservations so that the cost remains similar to that of Tiger1.

Re: New muzzle brake
Thanks Jack,
but I don't want to buy Aber's muzzle brake (55 €) and then make 3 or maybe 4 pieces without the certainty that they are actually purchased. I remind you that for the Tiger, I did not ask for advances, I was ordered and, after making them, some were canceled and I still stopped them here. We have to buy Aber's muzzle brake by spending 10/15 € each, including me, then pay the advances of 50% of the cost, and then I make them.
I hope you understand what I wrote. Thank you!

Re: New muzzle brake
Ivano,
I’m happy to make an advance...if that’s what you need. I’m also fairly certain others would too.

Re: New muzzle brake
OK,
to start if you accept that the example model is Abert,
let's start with the purchase. I found it on Ebay for 55 € from Poland.
Anyone find it for less money? Attention, Abert is in 1/16 scale if he has errors, bringing it to 1/6 scale will be more evident. I can't know, so I can't guarantee 100% loyalty.
So who is available? At least 6/7 interested people are needed. For the price please contact me privately, however it will cost like the Tiger.
Contact your friends and confirm with a post. If you want to send the money to me or anyone who wants to buy it. I hope you understand what I wrote. Thank you!

Re: New muzzle brake
Hi Mark,
for the purchase there should be no problems,
I buy it on Ebay.
I need 55 € + Paypal taxes (6/7% commission and collection)
€ 12 from Ivano Costantini
€ 12 from Jack Hrovatin
€ 12 from MarkLavson
We need more registrations, the more we are, the less we spend.
Do proselytism, as you see, I am available.
A big hello to everyone.

Rifling part of 12.8cm tank gun
Hi Ivano,Phil Woollard wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 5:46 pmIvano is there any chance that you can supply the rifeling for the Chieftain muzzle?![]()
May I ask the similar queries for the new-released Jagdtiger's 12.8cm gun's rifling part? The number of rifle lines (ie, grooves): 40.
Width of grooves : 0.26 inch (~6.604mm), ie, ~1.10mm in 1/6 scale.
Width of lands : 0.13 inch (~3.302mm), ...ie, ~0.55mm in 1/6 scale.
Depth of grooves: 0.06 inch (~1.524mm), .ie, ~0.254mm in 1/6 scale.
