They are great little masterpieces for sure and a must for the serious builder, I would expect a lot of orders for those Dave! On that note Dave I need to order another four of the water slide transfers please as I had a reaction with the clear lacquer which bubbled the material but sometimes even us hardened builders have problems! so a tip don't use automotive lacquer to seal!

Hi Phil,

No problem, i'll sort some out and post. I use Vallejo Metal varnish for the base and top coat on the extinguishers and as a base coat on the drums. Then use Vallejo Matt varnish for top coat on the drums, or any matt item.

Best regards

Dave

Another addition that I am now planning is this little lot. I will need another seat from Dave which will need modifying some what. I wonder if Dave has something a bit closer from another kit upgrade?

Due to the paint water slide reaction I have had to start again with the fire extinguishers but no big deal they have to be perfect.

Although you would not view the drivers seat from this angle it gives you I idea just how tight it is in there, I have made a start on those battery boxes which will hide the motion control modules and wiring....I hope!

Hi Phil,

Quad seat pads or Dingo is about it unless I make a new seat pad. Would need a couple more pics and enough interest though.

Cheers

Keep on fettling Phil, Dave's not going to make it easy for you.

Super original stuff going on here.

I was thinking "Pop up Pirate" type animated Driver head like this idiot, push down the head and torso, close the hatch.
But I'm half and half on the detail thing now.

The drivers seat was the only decent position in the tank I could get comfy. Everywhere else just try's to maim you or remove a limb. Tripping hazards everywhere and the chance of ruddy great green lump pulverizing your body into the back of the turret too.
Otherwise all good.

This 5P had a green seat.

That drivers cab is extreme; nice one Phil!

On a separate note, could you tell me what is the maximum height you can have at the position where you currently have the batteries located?

I will check the clearance Richard but it may be more like the available depth down from turret ring, the protruding elevation mech is the ptoblem, also remember the gun was not an artillery piece so keep the barrel low! 8)

I just can't go for the full size batteries and battery boxes as I will never be able to slot it in through the turret opening.
