2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

An icon of British motoring history - the 80" Series 1 Land Rover.

Many thanks to a customer who has lent us his car whist we evaluate making a 1:6 scale model.
The car is 70 years old (1950 model) and is still being used as a working car. Despite this it has all original parts.

Oh, please, please, please let this be a hint for what is coming by the end of the month!!!

I've already done the math and with an extra 1.33" added mostly behind the door, and some sheetmetal, grille work, etc... this could turn into an 88" late series 1. (Among Series 1's there were the early 80" chassis... then the 86" chassis... then the 88" which was "Almost" a series II.)

And with an 88" Late Series 1... and some creativity.... It can become this:

The first two are of the Dunsfold Collection Series 1... sort of the Bovington of Land Rovers. Some amazing vehicles in their collection. This is a genuine 88" ex-Regiment SAS Land Rover built in 1957. There were 7 built on 88" Series 1 chassis and 2 made on 86" chassis as prototypes. Only two 88's are believed to have survived. But more may turn up....

Before the famous 109" Pink Panther... they had these.

This one I don't know, perhaps a private build or owner.

The Rhodesian SAS in their Land Rover Series 1. 88"

Before I went onto other British vee-hickles, I collected and restored Land Rovers. Even had a 'real' pinkie!

So If Armortek builds this... I will be number 1 in line to order!

Cheers,

RPR

Nice selection of photographs Pierce.

Hate to break the news though - the Series 1 will not be the next announcement. We are still evaluating whether it is something that we will make.
