No worries Phil; just thought I'd offer it up whilst the capability is available. Thanks for the info also, Am learning new stuff everyday although I think the grey matter may explode soon due to info overload :shock: but keep it coming whatever happens :lol:

Sorry for the late reply Vince, yes the sprocket teeth rings are steel, its got to be the way to go with these big buggers especially the JT! 8)

More progress, and a Question for Armortek.

A question for Armortek, The final drive has a round cover plate ESO243, with an integral turned part to support the electric motor shaft, does this integral part require an additional brass bush CG0704 ? I don't want to fit the parts together and find a brass bush needs fitting. I have not identified the bush CG0704 as yet as I can't find it listed.

A bit of a panic this morning, the westerly storm we have right now was threatening to wash the new sand school away, so out comes my trusty tracked vehicle to dig drainage as quick as possible to divert the flow of water.

If you want an easy fix for the sprocket hub m3 lock nut fixings, simply drill with a flat bottom bit from the rear, to mount the hub use the m3 small heads to fix, these are purely cosmetic so a couple of threaded fixings are just fine.

You will need to clear the threads, now I use a power driver because I'm under pressure to prep, be careful if you use the same as you can strip the threads very easily, so maybe use a hand tap!

Not in the build sequence this rear box but I want to get it mounted so I can add all the conduits around the rear before I move on to the grill assemblies

There's quite a lot of tooling marks to remove but I lhave a machine to help with that task. Use a power file if you have good hand eye coordination or leave well alone and do it by hand, that thing can destroy a parts appearance in seconds!

Sorry Phil, you really should supply your work force with proper PPE ( personel protective equipment). Latex gloves would have been a nice touch.

Love the added details, I do like the towing plate, axel extentions, nice little reminders. 8)

It's Black and Decker work mate time for me now starting Saturday.

Sadly, I can only depend on a few minions to help me out. :roll:

I'm using fairly small fixings on the exhaust fitting. The standard m3 is for comparison.

I tip, if you have no small head fittings then try reducing the m3 heads by spinning in a power drill and holding it against emery paper, this technique can be used to make threaded rivets.
