I've been working on the motor dimensions but that's another story and a few other bits see below. 8) The measurements are shown in 1/35 and 1/6 but some poetic license can be used, it's down to the individual to make it look right, please be aware that a small section of the kit rear belly plate angle remains using this method.

Please be aware this is my fix and is not totally accurate or necessary but a very close compromise which requires nothing added just some careful cutting and bending, even the kit brackets with a little fetling will still fit.

I do like the 7.62 rounds and the links are excellent, just a fiddly bugger to put together, even the 1/1 link assembly by hand is hard on the fingers, not that anybody ever assembles the link by hand these days. There's a nice hand operated press for use in the field.

A perfect fit in the GPMG's oily bits. Even the weapons link extractor block is in the right place.

No disclaimers allowed and it's artistic licence

Otherwise it would be
"There was a Model tank builder called Phil who always loved the filling the bill...."

"But late in the night, he was given a fright when his fingers got caught in the mill.....er. :D

Don't you just love predictive text lol! I have checked it and it says " working" not "wanking" with no edits logged in the original post, God knows where that post came from  I'm going to leave it as it's funny!

Thank you John! Are you going to perform the belly plate mod?

Back to reality, yesterdays work. There's still more detail to be added to the lower hull, the side hatch is interesting. Please note, turning pieces obviously requires a machine tool and a little knowledge, you can also make such parts using large washers, hardware stores have all kinds of goodies. 8)

Looking good Plil, I'll be trying to do the best I can with what I have. Which is not a lot.
I think you've proved there's a lot you can add to the model and you've not really got the wheels on yet. Hoping mine goes together as well as yours.
By the way I was trying to rhyme with Sherman Tank but you beat me to it
