2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Hi all,

Post by Charles A Stewart »

I am hopefully to receive my Chieftian kit in a few days time.

I am new to this level of modelling but look forward to it. I just wondered if there is any like minded folk in the Cumbria area?

Cheers Charles

Any particular reason for going for the Chieftain rather than one of the other models ?

In reply to your enquiry Mark, I just missed out on armotek tiger(late). I opted for King Tiger (deposit paid).

Up comes Chieftian, went on reserve list, one became available so here I am. I am looking at these projects as a retirement issue and investment.

Although not army I am ex RAF, cold war era. Always had a fascination about armour modelling.

Hope that's ok 😊

Hello Charles
Great to see new owners joining the more established tank nuts.
I am waiting on a Chieftain myself and having seen the prototype can say that it’s a beast.
Armortek owners up north are fairly thin on the ground but 2 names that do spring to mind are Paul Morris (Paul’s tank workshop) and Paul Willis, both are in Cumbria. I live just south of Manchester and therefore not to far away from you.
Regards
Steve

It certainly sounds like plan.

Can this thread be linked to the chieftian's main sort of forum?

I don't have a clue how it could be done. But I hope it is a reasonable suggestion.

Cheers Charles
