I am trying to put together the commanders hatch but I cant find which screws/bolts I need to use to attach the cupola arm to both the hatch and the cupola ring?
The instructions for this are very poor it shows every thing apart from what you need to attach the hatch!
If you know please let me know.
Many Thanks Allan

Re: Cupola Arm and Hatch
Hi Allan
If I remember correctly, to attach the arm to the centre of the hatch one needs a M3 countersunk screw and nut. Having said that, when I blinged that part I used a M2.5 screw from the bottom of the hatch and a home-made nut at the top.
As you said, there are no indications how to attach the arm to the cupola. What I did was to use a 6mm stainless steel rod and threaded one end M6 with a die. One can also use brass or steel rod instead. If you don't have threading facilities an M6 threaded rod could be used although it will not look right with the hatch open. Another option is to use a long partially threaded M6 screw and cut to lenght.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick response, I have also emailed Kian about this. I have been through all my bags and there is nothing that identifies as the required screw, frustration.
Love your hatch by the way!
