An opportunity to build a unique Armortek Tiger 1, the Fehrmann Tiger F01.
Tiger F01 was a hybrid, based on a May 1943 production tank but much modified to a late Tiger production standard. The Fehrmann Tigers were assembled by instructors at the Panzer Schule in Fallingbostel in early 1945 and went into action in the last days of the war as part of an independent Kampfgruppe. F01 had a particularly adventurous but short combat career and was eventually knocked out by a Comet of 3rd Royal Tank Regiment.
The model consists of the Armortek Tiger 131 base kit with the Armortek parts necessary to build an accurate Tiger F01. I've collaborated with Tiger expert David Byrden to establish exactly the configuration of F01 in April 1945. I'll supply copies of my detailed research, including copies of all the existing photos of F01, a spreadsheet with a detailed and authenticated build standard and references to available accounts of Tiger F01's short but exceptional combat career. The package also comes with full motion pack, including smoke, recoil and sound.
I'll also supply aftermarket parts from Steve Winstone, Mark Lawson, Liam Mahoney and Vince Cutujar and can add the two most popular but hard to find Tiger modeller's references:
This project would build into a unique Armortek Tiger, not otherwise likely to be available now or in the future.
Please contact me by PM if interested.
Thanks for reading.

Re: Fehrmann Tiger 1
Love these Stephen, I did one of these a while ago and it was a real insight into just what went on with the German war machine when parts were nearly exhausted and they just made do, this would be a very interesting project indeed

I thought for a second this was your next build Stephen. I would love to see this built. Very cool subject matter.

Sold subject to funds transfer Thanks for your interest.
Bob, Phil, I've long wanted to do a Fehrmann Tiger to complement my unfinished Comet. I'd then be able to show two sides of the same engagement. Reality is though that my Pz III took four years, the Centurion has taken five so far and then I've got the Comet to finish and the Chieftain...... (and who knows what delights Armortek may yet produce...) so I honestly can't see me getting around to the Tiger. It's better that someone else enjoys it now. What's more, there are so many exceptional Tiger builds that I don't think I can bring anything new to the party. I will miss the opportunity though to have some instant expert, high on a dose of World of Tanks, telling me that I've got it wrong with resilient wheels on an early Tiger. No, son, that's called research.......

Amen to that! ( definition of the noun "amen" ,it is so ;so be it. Used after a prayer creed or other formal statement to express solemn ratification of agreement ).
