It's going to be a tight squeeze and I was going to ask about the batteries but I see you are going to use four small ones. I guess using a combination of series and parallel wiring to get the 24V and increasing capacity.

Is modelling the turret basket going to affect the turret turn, elevation and recoil mechanisms?

It’s all looking very good, a bit of inspiration for when I get round to doing mine. I was not planning on doing a turret basket on mine but now I see how you have created enough space using 9amp batteries I may reconsider.

The detailing going into this Tiger is amazing

It will be interesting to see how well the 9Ah batteries stand up to the rigours of moving a Tiger around, as suppliers such as PowerSonic only give the headline capacity when discharged over 20 hours. So to get 12Ah from their "12Ah" battery, the discharge rate is limited to 450mA.

To get one hour of running time, whilst draining the battery to 9 volts, the discharge rate is given as 7.25A, which only gives an effective battery capacity of 7.25Ah, or 60% of the headline value.

Radiators and fans are available, I don't have a warehouse, I'm not a merchant, I only produce to order, so it takes all the time necessary to make the pieces.
I also ask the friends of the forum for an opinion, I hope you will answer me. I have the possibility to build 6 more engines for Tiger1, now I have some time and I could also do the assembly on request.
It will be a 90% montage and I can also paint it. It cannot be mounted completely because the shipment would damage it. Do you think there might be interest? At the end of the year Armortek will deliver the King Tiger, even for this engine the very detailed kit that includes the "sirocco fan" could be available.

Will be interested to see the results, as the Sherman kits have a much narrower lower hull but also quite large sponsons, so a battery set up like that might allow more space in the hull.

Thanks bob, more progress on the wiring, and now I feel the need to start on the Maybach. Today's tip reduce the voltage for the driving lights if you don't eventually the front bulb will melt the nice lens and the rear will also get hot and fail at some point, usually at a show.

very interesting battery setup good spot to place them as this is normally "empty space" in most builds.
