Hi ant
yes i,ve tried it, works well but the pyros are expensive, about 35-40 quid per 12 which works out a lot more than blanks for a blank firer, by the way we do have a load that we bought from mark and gill at the open day.

Hi Clive,

You'll have to give me some advice on Sunday please. If you've got some time can you put something down on paper for me to follow as I'd like to give this a go. I'm not too worried by the cost of the pyro's but one thing that is missing from my Panther is a bl**dy big bang

Thanks Antony

Clive, you have a PM.

Hi Ant, no problem should be easy with your radio, all you need is one Electronise switcher and your all set, you can then set the pyro off using one of your toggle switches either left front plate one or the top right hand one channel 5 or channel 6 respectively.

Hi Ant
i get all that kind of gear at technobots on the net, you need an Electronize 2 channel switcher, i think its in the speed controller section, great company stocks loads of rc stuff, allthough they are really geared up for robot wars type items.

Hi Clive,

I've had a look at that site but can't find the right Electronise unit. Can you copy & paste the right one so I can get it ordered :?:

Thanks Antony

Hi Clive

Your Sherman looks excellent! 8)

If you guys get the single shot pyro working, is it possible to take some video? It'd be nice to see.

regards

Hi Clive,

Thanks for the link but Allan has a spare one so I'm sorted now. That's the easy bit. What else will I need so we can give it a go next time we meet :?:

Hi Tim,

If we get it working I will definately take a few photo's and a video

Hi Ant
Just need some wire and some pyros, the switcher is just that, it is a on and off switch worked from the radio so we can take a permanent negative from one battery to a terminal block and send the positive through the switcher up to the terminal block, connect the pyro to the terminal block + and - and then just a case of firing it with the radio, simple, be warned though they are very loud.
