Yesterday I had my first day off in weeks . So I turned on the lathe , and made a flexiable U.S sherman Aerial base . Dale

I'm going to add some brass grab rails around the sides of the turret to hang back packs and stowage . Dale

That's a neat piece of turning :D

Did you fit a plug into the barrel end as it looks a smaller diameter than the threaded end on mine :?:

Dale,
Nice bit of work on the antenna mount. I'm planning a similar spring loaded one myself. Will this be the RC antenna? Or just for looks? If it is the RC antenna, do you insulate it from the tank turret? Like thread it into a piece of delrin plastic?

Your Sherman is looking great, I can't wait to get back on mine! I have some cool detail parts planned for it.

Adrian the end fits inside the barrel . Bob the antenna is only for looks as I will us a 2.4G radio set ... Dale
