The star washer goes inside the suspension bar, behind CL0222, so as you tighten the M6 CSK screw, the washer bites into both CL0222 and the suspension bar and locks them together.

Got It, Adrian. That would do a great deal of good, with the grub screw through the bottom, to prevent CL0222 from turning under suspension loads.

So, the assembly sequence for those wishing to try it is;

1. Insert M6 x 25 CSK through the tank Hull.
2. Place M6 'Star' washer inside the recess and over the M6 Screw.
3. Insert the pre-assembled Road Wheel assembly.
4. Start the CSK screw onto CL0222
5. Set up the angle between CL024 and the hull bottom -20 Degrees
6 Fully Tighten the M6 CSK Screw while maintaining the 20 degrees.
7. Tighten the M5 Grub screw

Thanks to Stephen whites post on my Panzer III cupola query I have been doing some mods to my Cupola
First I re positioned the hatch hinges one screw hole Clockwise so that he hatch centre line now lined up fore and aft. Filling two exposed holes with e Dummy Studs CH0310 and modelling Putty in the two other holes originally used for the hinge.

Stephen also added a view of the top of the Cupola (blow) showing what one actually looked like. So I 'modified' my one to look Like it, the result is shown below. M2.5 X 10 cap screws from below with plain nuts now holdCL0429 in position CL0430 was 'shaped slightly' with a files then the holes countersunk. The original M3 x 6 Botton heads replaced with M2.5 Csk socket heads epoxy resined in place. The 2.5 x 32 pim inserted into one hing half and cut off with a diamond disc in a Dremmel. The same procedure was followed for the remaining hinges.
Finally an approximation of the 'extra' fitting on the right hand lid was made and fixed in place with some 8BA screws and the heads filed down

What I also did was to trim off the tongues on the View Ports, raise them to the Open position and filled in the exposed slots with modelling putty, That has still to be trimmed off.

Any suggestions as to what I should do about an ammo box for the M%34 belt? The later MG34/42 set ups looks as if they had a 'Gurtsack' for the belt, but what I can see of the Panzer III at Bovington and in the DAK or earlier they didn't. (or am I looking in the wrong place)

After 6 months panzer No.6 of the 8th Panzer Regiment, 15th Panzer Division (i hope, I await corrections..... ) is ready for road test.
A couple of hitchhikers got picked up after the 2nd Battle of El-Aalemain.

The only other marking you could add would be the 8 Pz Regt tactical sign, although I'm not entirely sure on the Ausf L where they were painted. Probably on Rommel Kiste and perhaps on the other front and rear wings.

The MG 34 mount I copied from the Bovington Ausf L. I do have Dave Dibbs version so I might use that now I've seen your images.
When I find out what the 'Rommel Kist' is I might well add it.
I've got the 15th Panzer Totum on the front left wing, so I might just as well add it to the right.

Thanks Adrian. I did a google and looke up Kiste in my English-German Dictionary. It may have been called 'Kiste' but I bet the troops might have called it 'arsche'
