Thats right Pihil,
looks like a powerfull train ;)
At Thursday I'll plan to paint the framework finish. So I can make the suspension and front axel soon. Like the parts finished on the model, not on part distributed on my workshops floor...

On the weekend it goes forward, to install the suspension and tirers. First finishing the front axel. By that make shure that the ball-bearing is the right and fits on the axel. A few axes are too thick and need some sanding.
There may be a burr on the bearing seat of the casters, which must be removed. I fixed the bearings with some Loctite.

Good morning David,
ahhhh ok. I have to wait for the exact pricing. It will be at 4,50-5,20 for 25 pices. I have about 8 FAMOs so it would work.
The production for that needs about 4 weeks.

All FAMO owners, they want the special srcrews for the chain. I've got an answer about the time for pricing and production. So in 7 days I'll get the price. In about 3 weeks the screws may ready for shipping.

Hello Famo owners,

it is advisable to glue the rubber cushions of the track links laterally with loctite rubber glue.
I continued to work on the winch. here it needs some rework, so that the winch works well.

What have I changed on the winch:
- First, on the snail, a passcheide must be put up in front. - 2.3mm thick. That must be, because the worm otherwise gets too far in and blocks the worm wheel.
- Secound, the brass nut can not be tightened, as the axle will not turn. I fixed the nut with loctite and deepened the hole for the pin 32x3mm. Thus, the pin can additionally fix the nut.
Also, the aluminum part (cover) must be refinished, otherwise it presses too tight on the worm wheel and the winch does not work.

Looking good Florian, did your kit have the winch worm and gear included or have your ordered it separately ? I'm thinking that maybe that gear comes with the winch motion kit that I have on back order? Regards Phil.
