Re: Real or fake
This is my all-time favorite panther image. I hope to build an Armortek Panther G someday to represent it.

Re: Real or fake
Sorry Phil, but I can't help thinking of the guys that might still be inside.
They might have been the enemy but Judging by the still closed hull escape hatches the radio operator and possibly the driver on the other side might not have got out before the tank 'brewed up'.
I see the top hatch is open so the commander and gunner might have escaped.
But then, it might have been a knocked out tank where everyone got out and deliberately destroyed by the crew. One hopes so.
Regards
Pete
PS. I'm NOT a 'snowflake' so please don't take it personally.

Re: Real or fake
I respect your thoughts Pete and having been involved with "over pressure research" am fully aware of what might be. Ironically I was also standby replacement tank crew for a while, that's in the days when the policy for a knocked out AFV was (if feasible)) recovery, and if possible cleaned up repaired and sent out again with a replacement crew without ringing in their ears!
Talking of irony, notice how our new thumbs up facility could be used in the negative to dislike a post! I think I will stick with these
Good debate.....Phil.

Re: Real or fake
Phil , on the subject of whizbangs, have you seen the latest video from Flitetest on You Tube? May interest you. Shows a Warthog attacking a tank. They have used a system of very rapid fire biodegradable BBs firing through a special light which illuminates the BBs as they emerge from the guns. I don't like BBs in rc tanks but the results do look pretty dramatic with this system. Worth a quick squint!
