For all those who've said they'd like to attend the SW Model Show this weekend as Armortek customers, here is what you need to know:
Location: the Museum has confirmed we will have an indoor area but the location will be confirmed on arrival on Saturday.
Arrival/Registration: Please arrange to arrive and unload between 0730 and 0830 on Saturday. For anyone attending on Sunday only, please let me know beforehand and we'll make arrangements to have the nearest door to our pitch opened between 0830 and 0930.
Since we don't yet know our location in the Museum, please park alongside the Museum in Lindsay Road on arrival and check with the Registration desk which entrance to use.
If we're in the Tamiya Hall, entrance will be via the registration desk area. If we're in the Tank Story Hall, we will have access via the Back Gate.
I'll aim to arrive early on Saturday, register for us and collect the car passes and wrists bands, which will then be available to you at our running area.
The event will be open to the Public between 1000-1700 both days.
Exhibitor Parking. Once you're unloaded, please park your car in Car Park 3, which is the area used for the Tank Park at TankFest, entrance via Lindsay Road just after turning off Bovington Lane.
Operating in Public. The Guidelines are still available here:

Please note that we should not use smoke inside the Museum, irrespective of which orifice it comes from.
The Museum has just issued new guidelines for the display of "Sensitive Material", which may be of interest to some.
Finally, Chris Hall has kindly volunteered to be our point of contact with Museum Staff for Sunday. Thanks Chris.
See you there.
Stephen

Re: SW Model Show, Autumn Edition. Tank Museum 13-14 Oct
All credit to Stephen for pulling this one out of the bag, at very short notice, particularly seeing as he's just moved house ! The Big Victory is that we'll be somewhere inside, rather than on the car park (as was originally intended).
So let's make this a good display of Armortek's Finest (it is, after all, a Model Show) and use it as a platform to build bigger and better shows at Bovington in 2019.
Looking forward to seeing all the 'usual suspects', and enthusing about our passion to the enthralled Public ,
Chris

Re: SW Model Show, Autumn Edition. Tank Museum 13-14 Oct
Some extra information following a visit to the Museum today.
- Location: I've got us into the Tank Story Hall and - appropriately - we'll be beside the M5 Grant.
- Unloading: drive round to the back gate and enter the Museum by the fire escape.
- I've collected the wrist bands and car passes, so no need to call at Registration.
Regards.
