Re: Real or fake
Wow that’s a very impressive bit of steel bending.
I didn’t realise that was how the turret sides were formed full scale, Armortek use a similar process to form their tiger turrets it’s just 1/6 the size.
Regards
Steve

That's the best tiger manufacturing photo I've seen, its always fascinating to see how the beasts were put together. Those guys must be manhandling the steel once in the press, maybe 4 tons or so but on pivot.

Re: Real or fake
Brilliant photo, look at the control box and the heavy cable, now was the 1/1 Maus going to be electric drive? Ive never seen this photo before, I think the guys watching should be on their bellies to get a better perspective.
I wonder what ever happened to the model.
Thanks for posting Brian.

Re: Real or fake
They just keep getting better Brian, the tracks in stock photo is something else and the Sturmtiger bending the rail car is so cool, we just got to have one of those flat bed rail cars as a kit!

Re: Real or fake
Thanks guys! Some inspiring stuff for sure. A rail car kit would be great. Maybe an Armortek locomotive?
