Painting Resin

Post by Simon Peck »

Hello All,

Does anyone have any advice, hints or tips on preparing resin for painting so as the paint has the best chance of adhering? I had a quick look in the knowledge base, but didn’t see any relevant titles.

Cheers!

Wash with soapy water to remove any mould release agent (or any pre-paint treatment if already mounted)
Primer - regular primer works fine, no need for any specialist resin primer althuogh they do exist if you prefer.
Paint as normal
