If it weren't for the floor in the first picture, this would be a real head scratcher in the "real or fake" theme!
A little too much is about right...

Hi Bodo
Very impressive indeed, not sure if I should be motivated to try hard or just give up when I see such craftsmanship!!
You should definitely put these in Phil’s real or fake section.

Hi all,

thank you for your kind comments. The following pictures are showing more details. The vision ports are workable and can be locked inplace. The radio equipment is soldered from brass.

Brilliant job. I like it all especially how you have created a 'patina' beloved of some old bike owners.

Bodo's work is always of the highest most accurate detail I have ever seen it's a pity some of his parts are not available even as simple castings.

I look forwards to seeing the completed model.

Hi Mark,

I have been asked many times to produce a small batch of these time consuming parts. But the reality is, I cannot cast these components in a durable quality. Besides the samples must be 3% bigger, because there is a degree of shrinkage. The next point are the costs, one casting form costs estimate 100.-€. If I ask my caster to produce me from different parts only 20 pcs. each, he is not willing to do this for me.
Unfortunately that`s the truth.

Looks fantastic, good job. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the diamond plate for the floor?
