The V2 is taking shape. Semi scale coming in at just over 2 mtrs, the reason, the rocket body tube availability. As with manufacturing anything if you can find off the self stock parts it makes the build process a whole lot more efficient, be that cars or rockets.
The main body tube is 203 mm in diameter, so to keep the silhouette looking correct reduce the length accordingly 8) .

Regards Phil.

An update on the V2 project and others with a tracked vehicle thrown in. I think the guy arming the V2 warhead either has big ears or that's cotton wool shoved in them just in case it goes off!

As I sit here writing this blog on an Autumn morning looking out over the beautiful Cornish Countryside, I'm thinking that I really need to be getting ready for a customer who's picking up his Flakpanther at noon........ and it's pi--ing down!
Not done much building this week as I have been boxing a Tiger1 kit for the States and fiddling with the Flakpanther before she leaves for Germany, but I have done a little more work with the V2 project and dug out a couple of old photos of some tracked armour from WW11.

Been packing kits and turning Tiger 1 exhaust stacks on the lathe this week, five sets! So no proper building and the weather is so bad I have not been able to do any photo shoots. Found some photos that may be of interest.
