As I have been trawling my library for KT photos I found these atmospheric pics of one of my KT's. If anyone has any cool pics of Kt's then please post away.

Very realistic and atmospheric Phil, straight out of the history books. I never quite got the hang of 'one stick' control, lost the sensitivity in my fingers years ago....I am enjoying your posts :) ....Mick

It's pissing down here, so a day in the workshop for me. I'm going to mock up the V2 rocket and trailer this morning and probably post on this thread to keep it out the way :D

A very basic mock up of the V2 placed over the 88 mm bogies, this to give me an idea of where everything might go and whether it's going to look any good, it will be huge.

The V2 trailer is falling together nicely. As it's not possible to edit the attachments once submitted, the third photo should read " the front section will hold the fuel/alcohol tank" and not the O2 tank. :?

Tis the weekend, some of my work with the Armortek Tigers.
I do hope we get some better weather in the UK as I have a considerable back log of diorama VT work to catch up on.
The dark sepia photo of the knocked out Tiger 2 is for Kents eagle eye, I would like his opinion on that one.

It would have been almost imposable to recover a T2 with a T1, but a tow on good ground would have been feasible.

Hi Phil,

It's a fake!
Easy to see as the jack block are stored in a to low position as are the exhaust pipes.

Kind regards
Kent

Thanks for that Kent, I thought that I had done a good job with that KT. I dont think most people would notice those minor points :) I will try harder in the future! I thought maybe the MK1 rear idler that I used for the video would have given it away?

Been constructing an engine for the V2 today (sorry no tanks) this will be for a diorama with the 88 mm flak trailer and maybe a couple of Tigers in the background. :) Not terribly detailed but should look ok from a few metres.
Pipes pipes and more pipes, interesting researching for this build. I sure am going to need a Halftrack.
If anyone wants to disscus this post then please pm me as its not really relevant

Hi Phil,

I really like the the V2 project and I really like your work on the V2 engine, it reminds me of the work we tried to do in the Nord West Kampfgruppe. Reading between the lines, I think Kent had to look twice to see if your KT diorama was real or not 8)

Can't wait to see it looking like this.

V2 rocket engine mk2. Just a little more detail. That egg shaped vessel is the hyrogen peroxide container, that was used in a reaction chamber along with another chemical to produce high pressure gas to turn the gas turbine fuel pumps. All clever stuff.
