Re: Pak 43/41 - Collapsing suspension?
Hi Leon,
I acquired a pak43/41 last year that had been built by someone else. When I had a look at the suspension, which was faulty, I found there is a screw placed at the centre of the axle underneath the gun. This screw had stripped the thread so had allowed the axle to rotate and the suspension collapsed. I re tapped the hole to a slightly bigger size and that cured the problem. Hope that helps.
All the best
Kevin.

Hi Kevin
We reckon it was a couple of loose grub screws - took everything else apart and all looked O.K.
Anyhoo, offending grubs now back in with a dab of threadlock and she remains upright
Fingers crossed
