Armortek Event: Tiger Day at the Bovington Tank Museum

Armortek customers have again been invited by the Tank Museum, Bovington, to exhibit at Tiger Day VII. Although not until 29th Apr, I'd like to start gathering names now of anyone who would like to attend. I haven't yet agreed numbers with the Museum and it would help to know the level of interest. Please let us know by email or PM if you'd like to come.

This year the Tank Story Hall will be largely given over to Museum premium ticket holders' activities and space is short. We've nevertheless been offered space on the understanding that we will put some emphasis on models which fit with the Tiger theme. Other models are still welcome but if you have a choice, please consider German or WW2 models over others.

So far, I've 14 names on the list:

Any more takers? I'll need to get numbers to the Tank Musuem in about two weeks' time, in order to allow time to get the tickets sent out.

I'll publish the details as soon as I know them. For those of us who experienced Model Expo, I've been talking to the Tank Museum Staff, particularly about the unloading/loading arrangements and our location in the Tank Story Hall, so there should be some changes for the better.

Coincidentally, I heard from the Tank Museum today and will need to get our details to Brianna by the middle of next week. If you've asked for a ticket, could you please let me have (by email to Gill or PM to me) the following:

- Name
- Model(s)
- Registration number of your transport
- Any requests for tables etc
- Any requests to leave models in the Museum overnight on Friday 28th

We could accommodate a couple more, so if there are any late takers, could you please let me know, with the details above?

The TM have confirmed that we'll have our own area, in the Tank Story Hall. Although space is limited, we will have a small, dedicated running area.

Should be a great day, particularly as by then, the new Tiger Family Exhibition will be open, allowing the first public viewing in UK of the Panzerjaeger Tiger (P), alias the Elefant:
