Hello from Ft Hood Texas and Happy Holidays to Gill and Mark and Armortek and all on the forum! Although I have not met any of you I feel that we are all connected in this wonderful hobby and modeling forum. I am continuously impressed and humbled at the quality of workmanship from Armortek and all of you talented artists/engineers who bring these models to life. I learn something every time I log on and it has been a continued source of pleasure for me over the years. Cheers! Ray Glover :D

Now that Christmas is actually nearly here, it seems appropriate to add my Christmas Greetings.

Two years ago I'd barely heard of Armortek. Now I've built one tank, with a second on the way, got a third on loan and I've got a non-Armortek scratch-build to renovate. But, more importantly, I've learnt a lot of new skills, had great fun at shows, and made a lot of new friends.

So thanks to you all, even if we've just corresponded and never actually met. It would be invidious to name names, as you're all Good People. But the crown, of course, goes to Mark and Gill, without whom none of this would be happening.

So have a peaceful and relaxing Christmas, Hogmanay, and any other appropriate festival. And then - 2017 ! The 100th anniversary of Cambrai, for a start .....

Best wishes, and thanks,

Chris

Merry Xmas and a happy new year to all.

Looks like I'll finaly be able to make a serious start on the Tiger 1 over the holidays. Project was supposed to start last spring but a house move and a subsequent top to bottom renovation of the " new" house put paid to that. Looks like I seriously underestimated the amount of work involved.

And yes Gill the renovation is now done. There were a number of conversations with Gill that were supposed to be about tanks but ended up sharing house renovation tales.

Hopefully I'll be sble to start contributing before much longer.

John
