To link the amplifier to the motion control, you need to use the "RC Connections" pins on the amplifier module.
Connections 1 and 3 are the ones which make the engine sounds react to the track speed and they form a loop, so connection 1 is the input from the receiver and connection 3 is the output to the motion control.
Assuming channel 2 on the receiver goes to connection 3 on the motion control module, you would need to do the following:
Disconnect the lead from channel 2 on the receiver and plug it into connection 3 on the amplifier module.
Plug a new lead from channel 2 on the receiver into connection 1 on the amplifier module.
You should now find the tracks still work as before but the amplifier should react to speed changes.

Re: Sound Module not working.
I thought Tim was using channel 2 for forward/reverse and channel 1 for left/right ?

Success!
I have wired it according to Adrians instructions and set it up. I'm able to get engine start and idle, then acceleration. What it doesn't do is decelerate when i let off the throttle. It stays at a high speed sound. Unsure of how to get the sound to decelerate? Or what other sounds there should be?
Adrian'your instructions are crystal clear and worked on the first try. Armortek should have you draw up instructions for the sound module and include them with the kits. Thank you, Tim

Re: Sound Module not working.
Glad to hear you've got it working.
Have you been through the setup procedure in my message from Sat 8th ?
It sounds as though the sound card doesn't know where your idle and full speed stick positions are, which is why it stays at full speed instead of returning to idle.
Adrian.

Re: Sound Module not working.
Hi Tim, Adrian is correct you need to through the Mini setup as you have now connected the Mini to channel 2 so the settings will have changed.

Yes at this point it's just a matter of getting the correct setup. Playing around with it until i get it right. I'm able to idle, accelerate and decelerate. It now stays at a decelerated speed sound in the idle position. So' again i'll reprogram it and do a new learn. I guess that's all it is, getting the correct learn with the stick positions.
Re: Sound Module not working.
Hi all,
Well it's all working correctly, Smoker had the polarity reversed on the rectifier, works fine heats and blows smoke. Sound works well with engine sound, starts, accelerates and back to idle. Stays the same after powering down and back up. So'that works great. Just don't know how to get the machine gun sound to program. I heard it once, so i know it has it. I'd like to assign it, its own switch. Is that possible, or does it have to be assigned to switch B? Thanks, Tim
