I think I must have done something seriously wrong installing the motor+gearboxes.
If I fully tighten the spacer/motor+gearbox bolts then the drive is seized (motors just draw high current and make horrible noises). Loosening the bolts by about one mm seems to fix it.
As you can see I ignored the "LH" "RH" writing on the motors as I couldn't see how they would fit like that. Was that a big mistake?
It seems unlikely that the screws are going into the gearbox so is it that the output shaft is pushing against something?
Any idea what I've done wrong?
Help much appreciated.

Obviously some misalignment going on there Sam. I think you are going to have to disassemble the gear housing and have a look. Should be some witness marks where binding has occurred - post a photo and I am sure that the expert Tiger builders on here can point you in the right direction.

It seems to be just the bolt nearest the worm screw being too long. Pressing in and clamping it tight!?
I've never heard the phrase "witness marks" before very handy.
