Re: TankFest 2016
Thank you all who took all these wonderful collection of pics of Armortek models at the Tankfest 2016.
Looks like a great turn out………
WELL DONE Gill and Mark of ARMORTEK, another great successful weekend.
Good to see more pics of the Quad Dave……..and the fine upgrades for the Pak 43.
Looking forward to making a start on adding all those wonderful upgraded parts to my own Pak.
Once you have recovered from last weekend of course!
Great looking Quad Mark, looking forward to getting my hands on that kit, after the summer is over!
Cheers Ian

Re: TankFest 2016
Dave, brilliant video, many thanks indeed for posting. Really must tame that smoker.....
Living in a rural internet blackspot and not enjoying the benefits of fibre hiways, every available byte today has been taken by those streaming the footy and tennis. As England are excused further participation in the Euros (where have I heard that before), the internet might improve tomorrow enough to allow me to upload some great footage of the Mk IV formation dancing team and the three Comet Cowboys.....
Watch this space...

Re: TankFest 2016
Well, that was my first ever Tankfest ....... and what an awesome occasion it was ! Purely from the Armortek perspective, of course - I didn't get much time for the rest of the show
. Thanks to all of you for making a newbie so welcome, especially Mark & Gill for setting up the whole thing (and providing ice creams in the rain !).
There were so many memorable moments, but the cream had to be the Mark IV's 'owning' the hill (and thanks to Stephen for the brilliant films), the racing Comets, and the irrepressible Denny for demonstrating that Panthers don't barrel-roll like a P40 .....
I took a load of pictures. I've put most of them on Photobucket so as not to clog up the Forum (here's a slideshow: http://s1150.photobucket.com/user/woodl ... est%202016) but, of course, my favourite pictures are of the Mark IV's:

Here's to next year - the Cambrai Centenary !
All the best,
Chris
