This is 2 pictures of a series of pictures showing a mine explosion in front of a 1/6 scale Armortek Panther owned by Tim Page, the pictures were taken at Panzermuseum Munster during the Pfingsten weekend event, permission to use Pyroes at the museum was obtained and conducted in a controlled environment by experts.

Great photos, did not realise how big a explosion it was when I saw it in real time, glad my Leo was no where near when it went off

Steve, this is why I like to take pictures of the explosion which happens in a mere fraction of a second and your eyes cannot process the explosion fast enough most of the time you don’t even see the flash.

The first 'mine' explosion was pretty small, but this one was quite a bit bigger.
