Die Werkstatt is no more

Post by Jim Fowler »

Guys,

I tried to order some parts from Die Werkstatt/Rich Ivansek and he told me he was no longer in business. Since i did not see anthing about it, i thought i would post it to let folks know.

Anyone else sell a hoarse shoe turret conversion for a 1/6 Stu...or am I going to have to go it alone?
Thanks,

Jim

Hello Jim

I have spoken to Rick and he is still in business but due to the current market he has decided not to increase the range of products. The products that are on his website at the moment are still availible.
Jim what do you want? I have a few bits in stock.

I took this to be a fact, and so I deleted the link to the company from my Broswer Bookmarks folder. :(

Since Lee explained they are not out of business, and since this thread has been viewed more than 130 times so far, then maybe to avoid confusing readers someone (Jim or Armortek) might edit the title of this thread to reflect it was an inquiry and not a statement of fact?

Jim, since you started the thread it may be possible for you to edit the title.

Lee/Martin,

I just got off the phone, and he is out of business. Seeing your post, I wanted to re-confirm what he told me earlier this week. He did take my name and number though.....I will let you know if anything changes.

What I am looking for is the M5 Turret Conversion Kit he was offering.
Thanks,

Jim

Thanks for the update. I sent an E-Mail to Rick on the off chance that he might still be able to provide some tid-bits.
