Kickstarter - "Century of Tanks" art book

Post by Chris Hall »

Dear All,

I occasionally back Kickstarters, where the product is useful, good value, and the risk is acceptable. I´ve just noticed this one, which I think might be of general interest -

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/18 ... d-pentland

I have signed up - it will be interesting to see if any of you do !

All the best,

Chris

Many thanks Chris, I'd have missed this. Worthy cause and I couldn't resist the "Diggers in 'Nam" although there are stacks of other prints which strike a cord, such as the Vickers at Beda Fomm (nice subject for a small Armortek model?), the Matilda 1 at Arras and so on. Not optimistic though, with 30 days to go, he's only half way there. Spread the word!

Stephen

This has broken the £3k level, but it needs a push in the last 2 weeks if it's going to be realised. Another 95 subscribers (at the base level) from this Forum (and surely we're the most appreciative audience ) would hit the target .........

There's just over a day to go, and there's been a jump in interest which means it's only about a grand short of target. So, if you're interested, now is the time to jump .....

Have shared on Facebook, and have just checked and it now only needs £255 to reach the target with 4 hours to go, looks promising.

And it funded - just ! It all took off in the last 28 hours. Thanks to all the Armortekers who supported it, and Gill and Stephen for promoting it on Facebook.

Now to await the finished product .........
