the use of early track cleats was discarded when the later tracks were designed the early tracks were the same dimensions as later tracks with one exception early tracks had three cut outs cast in them for grip as bovi 131 early cleats had to be hand fitted two in this pic imagine what a pain that was see pic when the late tracks were designed these cut outs were deleted and the cleats/grips were added in the casting process see pic colin
