Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
Steve, it turns out I did the upgrade to Denny's King Tiger a while ago. Both fans are run through my module with no problems, but I couldn't get into the guts of it to see how they were wired and whether I had to make any changes to the wiring to suit.
Probably best if you could email photos of your current fan wiring to sales@armortekaddict.uk and I should be able to match up the spade connectors and include any different instructions for you.
John, I have four modules in stock, ready for despatch, so please email me on the address above and I can get your order processed.

Hi Adrian.
At the moment I am in the middle of a full rebuild and the smokers are not installed, when I get to the installation stage I will post some shots for you.
Regards
Steve

Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
hi,
I have seen your post re smoker fan controller and I am interested in buying one if you are still making them. I recently bought a Jagdpanther which has one of these fitted and that has prodded me into getting one for my Tiger 1.Also may be interested in the remodelled fan tops or a complete unit.
Regards
Kevin.

Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
hi, will this work with a 2009 Panther?
I have one of Wiggy's 12v smokers and a Benedini TBS5.
The smoker works well but would be nice if I could hook it up to turn on at engine start.
cheers
Tim

Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
Following a run of sales at TankMod I'm currently out of stock of these modules
I have done a stock check today and have ordered the additional parts needed for the next batch, so should have them built within a week or so, depend on how work goes.
Tim, I have used one of these with the 12V smoker in a M-1-T JS2 and it works fine.

Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
A note about compatibility with current Armortek Amplifier modules.
Recent Amplifier Modules, I believe from the Centurion onwards, are supplied with the TBS Mini sound board rather than the older TBS5 sound board.
If you have the TBS Mini style, a lead needs to be soldered to the adapter board which goes between the Benedini TBS Mini sound card and the Armortek amplifier motherboard.
I can either supply the lead and instructions, for you to solder yourself, or alternatively, I can supply a replacement adapter board with the lead already soldered.
Please check which sound board you have before ordering, to avoid disappointment

Re: Smoker Fan Control Unit
Mr Silcock takes this months award for a sharp eye, I hope that he has not seen my Mark IV as I may find missed rivets next to impossible to fit!
Well spotted! Steve
