Re: THANK YOU!
A big thank you to Gill, Mark, Stephen and all the other helpers for a truly remarkable day. It was nice to finally meet some you and to have a good chat, but time went so quickly before I new it the day was over.
I was gutted that I was unable to make it to the Sunday event at armortek maybe next time.
Regards
David & Lisa

Re: THANK YOU!
Looks like it was a brilliant day!! So disappointed we couldn't come and increase the Cent numbers. Maybe next time we can challenge the Tigers

Re: THANK YOU!
Big thanks to Mark,Gill and the Armortek team for putting on such a great 2 days of entertainment. A special thanks should also go to Stephen for all the hard work he has carried out organising the Guinness record attempt, a huge logistical effort required organising 100 plus items.
Well done .

Re: THANK YOU!
Thanks for posting the pictures Ian
I was certainly a great day - and good fun towing your T34, though I don't think the bungies were the right tool for the job. I obviously need to find the REME manual on using towing bars
Adrian.

Re: THANK YOU!
Na bother Adrian,
I know I had taken plenty of pics on the day, but for sure I had seen others taking lots of pics too!
It would be nice to see more, just to record those wonderful painted machines which would have taken a lot of time to paint, and weather etc…..
As for bungie jumping, sorry bungie pulling my T34, into Bovy with your REME Recovery machine…..it was fun at the time?….if only I had a couple of Mark's tow cables which were on sale on Armortek Sunday do, my T34 would not bounce about so much behind yours.
Yes maybe your right in looking into the REME manual for using tow bars!….just in case your called up in the future to tow other military machines that have broken down or whatever!
Cheers

Re: THANK YOU!
Good evening Mark and Gill,
It was a truly magnificent weekend and fantastic to see all the details and work that go into them, however I was wondering whether there was any news on the record attempt?
Regards
Dave

Re: THANK YOU!
Hi Dave.
Guinness originally told me that it could take them up to 12 weeks to pronounce. I've recently been onto them, saying that we've got a lot of people wanting to know the answer and as a result, they say they may be able to bring the decision forward. I'm hoping that means end of Jan but probably not before.
You're not the only one to ask! Vicki at the Tank Museum was asking a couple of days ago.
I'll keep onto them.
Season's greetings.
Stephen
